PINE MOUNTAIN LAKE LOCATION & FACTS Groveland, CA 95321, 30 Miles South of Sonora, 140 Miles from San Jose/San Francisco, 115 miles from Sacramento, 80 Miles from Stockton, 70 miles from Modesto and 26 miles to the Yosemite Gate. At 2800 feet, Pine Mtn Lake is above the smog and fog, and below the snow, we have over 300 sunny days each year. Winter daytime temps average in the 60's and Summer daytime temps average in the 80's. Spring and Fall temps are usually in the 70's. Winter snows are light allowing for enjoyment of the snow's beauty without the bother. Roads are open year round. While Pine Mtn Lake is a private gated community, the Country Club is open to the public and all amenities including golf course and lake can be used by those utilizing the catering/event services of the Pine Mtn Lake Country Club.
Pine Mtn Lake covers 3368 Acres, approx. 3721 Lots, approx. 2932 Homes, approx. 101 Townhouses & approx. 1750 Full-Time residents. Pine Mtn Lake is a gated community with 210 surface acre lake that offers for the fisherman, rainbow trout, large mouth bass, catfish, blue gill, red ear perch, crayfish & turtles. For your swimming pleasure the lake has 3 beaches with a snack house and bait shop at the main marina. A boat taxi allows transport to all three beaches all day long for a nominal fee.
